WASHINGTON, DC – Kidney Care Partners (KCP) – the nation’s largest kidney coalition comprised of physician groups, providers, patient advocacy groups, manufacturers and researchers, today applauded the U.S. Senate approval of Xavier Becerra as the new Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

“The nation’s kidney community stands ready to work collaboratively with Secretary Becerra and his staff at HHS and CMS to implement policies to ensure access to quality kidney care and innovations,” said John Butler, Chair of KCP.  “Working together, we can continue to build upon efforts to improve education, choice and access for the nearly 40 million Americans living with kidney disease.
